How a Residential Cleaning Business Grows

Business SavingsAs I have stated so many times, building a business takes time and it takes an investment.  So once you have your business started, how do you grow it?

By re-investing some of your profits back into your business!

This is what will allow you to grow your cleaning business. And that goes back to having a plan.  If you don’t know where you want your business to go, how can you grow it?  You would be keeping all the profits to yourself and not have anything left to expand your business.

It’s always easier for me to save money when I can actually see it. I started my business growth account with a simple white envelope. At the end of the week, I took a portion of my net profits and put it into my white envelope.  It’s surprising how quickly those first few dollars grew.

After a while, I took my simple white envelope to the bank and opened a business savings account.  This is what allowed me to grow my business to purchase new supplies and to hire workers.

Remember – the simple white envelope! This could make the difference in running your housecleaning business.

I had much bigger plans, like 1) Building up the business to compete with the franchises in my city 2) Training employees to do the dirty work and 3) Having the ability to sell the business when the time was right.
